Palm Beach Opera Thanks Major Supporters at Annual Luncheon

By:
On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, Palm Beach Opera celebrated its major supporters at the company's inaugural Co-Producer Society & Season Sponsors Appreciation Luncheon, located at The Brazilian Court Hotel's Café Boulud in Palm Beach. This luncheon served as an opportunity for Palm Beach Opera to honor its dedicated members of the Co-Producer Society, as well as generous education, outreach, and artist training program supporters, after a tremendously successful 2017 season of opera.

Patrons were invited to attend the annual Palm Beach Opera Board of Directors meeting prior to the luncheon. Café Boulud served guests a delicious meal that began with a mesclun salad with shaved vegetable crudités, and a mustard vinaigrette. The entrée featurEd Scottish salmon with fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The meal concluded with a delectable key lime tart.

There were 25 people in attendance for the Appreciation Luncheon including Ronnie Isenberg, whom was presented with the Palm Beach Opera Lifetime Grand Patron Award, which was announced at the 2017 Season Opening Celebration in December. Gladys Benenson and Mary Montgomery were again celebrated as Lifetime Grand Patrons. Other attendees included Palm Beach Opera's General Director Daniel Biaggi, Sanford Baklor, Hans and Sigrid Baumann, Bill Brown, Delphine Daft, John Domenico, Robert and Ann Fromer, David Genser, Allan and Mickey Greenblatt, Chuck Hardwick, Marsha Laufer, John Pohanka, John and Karin Strasswimmer, Ed Streim, Sieglinde Wikstrom, and Palm Beach Opera's Managing Director David Walker.
