Outré Theatre Company Presents A Staged Reading of
Buried Child by Sam Shepard

Join Outré Theatre Company as they present the second in their pre-season reading series, Buried Child by Sam Shepard.

This performance is hosted by Miami Beach Stage Door at the historic Byron Carlyle Theatre, for one performance only, on December 12 at 7:00 pm.

Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play focuses on Dodge, the aging patriarch of a Midwestern family with a disturbing secret, and the destructive scars this secret has inflicted upon the family. When Vince, Dodge's grandson, returns after an absence of several years, the secret threatens to spill forth and destroy the family. Drawing upon the crumbling of the American dream and the tragedies of ancient Greece, Buried Child is replete with sardonic humor and darkly disturbed characters.

Join Outré as they bring Shepard's contemporary classic to life, exploring the secrets that each of us keep hidden from the world.

Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $8 and are available at the door. The Byron Carlyle is located at 500 71 Street, Miami Beach, FL 33140.
