By:

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is excited to announce that the Theatre will be taking an extended vacation in order to Imagine, Dream and Escape and prepare for the next outstanding season. The three week vacation will take place August 3 - 20, 2009 with the Theatre re-opening Friday, August 21.

After five amazing years, the Theatre is taking its first vacation as a team to prepare for another great year. With 24-hour ticket service available through the www.jupitertheatre.org, patrons will stay connected to the 2009/2010 Imagine, Dream and Escape season, limited engagements, the Theatre's Conservatory of Performing Arts and more!

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Conservatory of Performing Arts will be on vacation during this time but fall semester registration will be available online. The Conservatory will re-open Friday, August 21. The fall semester for students taking classes in all levels of performing arts will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.

"When we originated our new season's logo, Imagine, Dream and Escape, we were so inspired. So much so that we decided to do it ourselves! We scheduled the three-week vacation to allow our entire staff time to rejuvenate. I truly believe that creativity is inspired by places, colors, textures, tastes and experiences, all which can occur with travel. Oh, the places we will go!" says Tricia Trimble, the Theatre's Managing Director.

All season subscriptions and limited engagement tickets are on sale and single tickets to the season productions will go on sale Monday, August 31 at 10am. For information and tickets, please visit the Maltz Jupiter Theatre online at www.jupitertheatre.org.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is an award-winning professional not-for-profit regional theatre dedicated to the performing arts whose mission is to entertain, educate and inspire our community. The Theatre is a member of the prestigious League of Resident Theatres and is located east of U.S. Highway 1 at 1001 East Indiantown Road and State Road A1A in Jupiter.
