Outré Theatre Company Presents

A Concert Production of

Man of La Mancha

Join Outré Theatre Company as they present the third and final production of their pre-season series, a concert performance of Man of La Mancha - book by Dale Wasserman, lyrics by Joe Darion, and music by Mitch Leigh - for one performance only, May 14 at 7pm. Man of La Mancha will be performed at Don Taft University Center's Performance Hall, Nova Southeastern University.

Based on Miguel Cervantes' masterpiece The Adventures of Don Quixote, this iconic musical follows one man's struggle to better himself and his world, through his daring to embrace the beautiful and exciting world he has created in his imagination, rather than accepting the cruel and cold world that the rest of humanity calls "reality." Accompanied by his friend Sancho Panza, the knight-errant Don Quixote searches for purpose and dreams, to "add some measure of grace to the world" where "facts are the enemy of the truth."

Winner of five Tony Awards, Man of La Mancha uses the frame story of Cervantes' arrest by the Spanish Inquisition to set the stage for a story of redemption, beauty, and wonder.

Tickets are $20 and are available at the door or on Outre' Theatre's website.
