By: Gabrielle Sierra
The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park will welcome its newest staff member Katie Moore as Box Office and Development Coordinator. A native of Central Florida, Ms. Moore earned her B.S. in Event Management from UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Before joining the Bach Festival Society, she served as the Development Coordinator at A Gift For Teaching, a Central Florida non-profit that takes surplus materials and distributes them for free to teachers for their students.
Ms. Moore's love of the arts began when she learned to play the clarinet in her middle school band. She states she is "excited to join an organization that combines my development and event background with my love of the arts. The Bach Festival Society brings so much to the community, not only through its performances but also through its education and outreach programs."About the Bach Festival SocietyThe Bach Festival Society celebrates 77 years of outstanding musical offerings and Annual Festivals during its 2011-2012 Season. Located in Winter Park, Florida, it is one of the longest continuously operating Bach Festivals in the country and among America's great oratorio societies.
