Before his disappearance in 1944, the bandleader led one of the most sought after brass ensembles. Miller was immortalized in the 1953 beloved film, The Glenn Miller Story starring James Stewart. Glenn Miller's effect on the history of music in America can still be seen. With songs including "At Last" to "Tuxedo Junction," Miller's songs appear throughout popular culture even to this day.
