Free 'Romeo & Juliet'- Miami's Shakespeare in the Park

Pack a picnic basket, bring a blanket, gather up your friends and
family and join all of Miami in a Celebration under the Stars.
The Miami Shakespeare Festival & the City of Miami

Shakespeare In the Park
Miami Style!
Relax in the beautiful bayside setting in Peacock Park, as you enjoy a
lavish production of one of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays:

Romeo & Juliet
The play's the thing and it's FREE.

Theater talk begins at 6:30 pm, Musical entertainment begins at 7:00 pm
The play begins at 8:00 pm
Shows are on Friday, January 13, Saturday, January 14
and Sunday, January 15.
Don't miss this opportunity to savor the beloved play
as you enjoy Miami's balmy January weather.

Peacock Park is located at 2820 MacFarlane Road in Coconut Grove.

  Directions from US 1:
Turn East onto SW 27th avenue (towards Coconut Grove.
Take SW 27th avenue until it dead ends at South Bayshore Drive.
For free parking, turn left and take an immediate right into the
Coconut Grove convention Center and follow signs to free parking.

To get to the Festival Stage, walk or drive South on South Bayshore
Drive until the road dead ends and makes a very sharp right hand turn on
MacFarlane road.  The Festival Stage is directly ahead of you. Bring a
blanket and a picnic. No chairs with legs will be permitted.
