Fort Lauderdale Gay Men's Chorus Presents "FOREVER PLAID"

The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men's Chorus announces its upcoming
performances of "Forever Plaid" to be presented November 4, 5, 11, and
12th at 8:00 p.m.; November 5 and 12 at 2:00 p.m.  All performances
will be held on the campus of the Sunshine Cathedral MCC, 1480 SW 9th
Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.

In its 20th Anniversary Season, the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men's Chorus is
continually recognized for its outstanding performances, quality of
material, and the energy with which the Chorus reaches out to the
community.  "Forever Plaid" continues that tradition.

Written by Stuart Ross, with musical arrangements by James Raitt, this
deliciously goofy musical tells the tale of The Plaids, a 1950s male
singing group who were killed on their way to their first big gig.
Miraculously they come back to earth for a chance to do the show they could
in life…and to fulfill their dreams of fame and fortune albeit,
posthumously.

This touching comedy features some of the great songs of the 1950s:
"Catch a Falling Star," "Three Coins in the Fountain," and "Love is a
Many Splendored Thing" among many others.

Tickets are available by calling the Chorus at 954-832-0060 or by
visiting http://www.ftlgmc.org.
