CELEBRATED INTERNATIONAL FAVORITE DUDU FISHER TO TO PERFORM STIRRING ONE MAN SHOW, "JERUSALEM OF GOLD," CELEBRATING ISRAEL'S 60TH ANNIVERSARY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16 AND 17 AT PARKER PLAYHOUSE 

Internationally famed DUDU FISHER, for several decades identified as one of Israel's most beloved ambassadors of music, will celebrate the birth of Israel sixty years ago when he appears in two performances of JERUSALEM OF GOLD, Saturday, February 16, at 8 P.M. and Sunday, February 17, at 2 P.M. at Parker Playhouse, 707 N.E. 8th Street.

Tickets priced at $45 and groups at $39, are now available with special premium seating in first five rows at $75 to benefit The US Friends of Israel Sport Center for the Disabled.

Well known to South Florida audiences for his appearances through the years, DUDU FISHER is also a magical name throughout Europe where, in addition to his concerts, he starred as Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" with the major honor of having performed the role in the Royal Command Performance for the Queen of England. An observant Jew, Fisher was the first actor on Broadway and in the West End to be excused from performing on Friday nights, Saturday matinees, and all Jewish holidays. In a versatile career which has taken him throughout the concert halls of Europe.

Fisher has appeared with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Thai Royal Family, the London Symphony, for Britain's royal family, and for President Bill Clinton and Senator Hilary Clinton. For JERUSALEM OF GOLD, in addition to works from his one-man Off-Broadway show, "Never on Friday, and Broadway show tunes, audiences can anticipate hearing the traditional Hassidic, Yiddish and Cantorial music with which he has been strongly identified throughout his acclaimed career.
