Darcy Ballew Appointed Asolo Rep Theater's New Marketing Director

Asolo Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the appointment of Darcy Ballew as its new marketing director. Formerly a senior member of The Cleveland Playhouse management team, Ballew has more than 30 years of experience in theatrical and live entertainment marketing. Her tenure begins immediately.

Ms. Ballew's primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of Asolo Repertory Theatre's marketing communications and overall messaging. Her communications team includes Associate Marketing Director Jacquie Valentine, Public Relations Manager Julia Guzman, Graphics Manager Heather Gulling, and Multimedia Manager Denise Lange. Additionally she will oversee ticket services and house management for Asolo Rep.

Prior to The Cleveland Playhouse (Cleveland, Ohio), Ballew served in a variety of marketing and public relations director positions with organizations including Playhouse Square Foundation; Cirque de Soleil, America; Cleveland Opera; Metropolitan Opera tour; Richfield Coliseum; and the Tri-C Jazz Fest. She is a graduate of Otterbein College and first place winner of the Women in Communications - Cleveland Communication Award and served as board vice-president for Mental Health Services.
