Bowfire's Holiday Heart Strings--at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 8 p.m.-is a lively musical extravaganza featuring one of the finest lineups of fiddle and violin virtuosos and tap and step-dancers ever assembled on one stage.

Tickets are $40-$60 (with a limited number of "smart seats" priced at $10).
Holiday Heart Strings includes all-time favorite classics such as "The Nutcracker Suite," "Sleigh Ride," "So This Is Christmas," and "Dreydl, Dreydl, Dreydl."

In addition to seasonal highlights, Bowfire takes its audience on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from jazz, classical, bluegrass, Celtic, rock, gypsy, world, Texas swing and Ottawa Valley and Cape Breton styles-mixed with beautiful voices and precision step and tap dancing.
Bowfire is composed of virtuoso violinists who are at the forefront of their respective styles combined with equally gifted and respected backup musicians: piano/keyboards, bass, drums/percussion, guitars and cello.

Formed in 2000, the company has performed to enthusiastic audiences throughout the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. Critics have called their shows "awesome," "innovative" and a "fast-paced onslaught of top-flight playing."
