'Behind The Mask' with the Florida Sunshine Pops Orchestra
Contemporary Broadway Hits Palm Beach
This promises to be an exciting show with Richard Hayman and the Florida Sunshine Pops -- along with veteran performers Teri Dale Hansen, Rosena Hill and Ron Bohmer -- showcasing today's hottest Broadway shows and the greatest hits of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
'Behind The Mask' features music from The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, Wicked, The Little Mermaid, Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia!, A Chorus Line and Spamalot.
Performances are scheduled in three venues: Sunday, Dec 12, at the spacious FAU Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium in Boca Raton; Monday, Dec 13, at the European-styled Eissey Campus Theatre of Palm Beach Community College in Palm Beach Gardens; and Tuesday, Dec 14, at the intimate Amaturo Theatre at the Broward Center in Ft. Lauderdale. All shows begin at 8pm.
Teaming world-renowned Conductor Richard Hayman with three heavy Broadway hitters in Hansen, Hill and Bohmer is a sparkling combination. The dynamic soprano, Teri Hansen, has captivated the stage from New York to London to the bold applause of interNational Theatre critics. Mezzo soprano Rosena Hill has floored audiences at Carnegie Hall and around the world. Soaring tenor, Ron Bohmer, has starred as Broadway's Phantom sensation and Democratic freedom-fighter Enjolras, in Les Miserables, among a host of other whirlwind performances. And as a given, everything Richard Hayman touches turns to gold.
