ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND
RETURNS TO
THE PLAYGROUND THEATRE, NOVEMBER 3 - DECEMBER 19, 2010

Lewis Carroll's classic English fairy tale, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, adapted and directed by Stephanie Ansin, comes to life with a tropical, South Florida twist on The PlayGround Theatre stage, 9806 NE 2nd Avenue, in Miami Shores, November 3rd through December 19th.

In The PlayGround Theatre's version, co-adapted and designed by Fernando Calzadilla, time, space, and cultures collide as the precocious heroine tackles the challenges of her ever-changing world, with the familiar tale unfolding in a surprise setting. Set, costumes, and lighting design are by Calzadilla, with original music and sound design by Luciano Stazzone.

Included in the ensemble cast are three young South Florida actors, all new to The PlayGround Theatre stage: Shira Abergel, a recent graduate of New World School of the Arts College; TRoy Davidson, a graduate of The Acting School of South Florida and J.P. Taravella High School; and Stephen Elliot Kaiser, who attended New World School of the Arts before going to Southern Methodist University. Joining them on-stage are Melissa Almaguer, Linda Bernhard, Ilana Isaacson, Robert Johnston, Marjorie O'Neill-Butler, and Jesús Quintero.
