Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre Presents IN THE HEIGHTS, Opening 3/6

In The Heights, winner of four 2008 Tony Awards and the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, is a sensational show about chasing your dreams and finding your true home. Billed as the next chapter in the classic American story on stage, In The Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan's Washington Heights - a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, this hip musical will win audiences over with its sweet story and hot tunes.

DATES: March 6 - April 7, 2013

TIMES: Wednesday - Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m. A special weekday matinee is scheduled on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2 p.m.

ADMISSION: Tickets for preview nights are $37, weeknights and matinees are $42, and on Friday and Saturday evenings $50. The theatre offers a 10 percent senior discount rate the day of performance and $15 student rush tickets 15 minutes prior to curtain with identification. Discounts are based on availability and exclude Saturday and Sunday.
