ASC's Inclusion Theatre Project Announces Auditions For FROZEN, JR

The Area Stage Company's Inclusion Theatre Project's (ITP) is really excited to announce the up- coming auditions for their 2019 summer production of Frozen Jr on Friday April 5th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Interested participants must be ready to audition with a one minute monologue and a musical theatre song. We accept students of all ages that are ready to understand and follow direction and who are able to commit to all required rehearsals and performances.

Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film in a story of true love and acceptance between sisters. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

The Area Stage Company Inclusion Theatre Project (ITP) serves its target population of student actors across South Florida with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are eager to develop their artistic talents. ITP casts these actors in full scale professional caliber musicals alongside neurotypical actors making our shows truly inclusive. Through our innovative, comprehensive format, developing actors experience socially relevant and impactful artistic interactions, which inspire change and foster understanding in our audiences and community.

Audition Date: Friday April 5th, 2019 4:30 - 6:30 PM. Sign-up at 4:00 PM. Actors will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Where: 1560 South Dixie Highway, Suite 103, Coral Gables, Fl 33146 (Riviera Plaza)
What To Bring: Please prepare a one minute monologue,16 bars (approximately one minute) of any musical theater song. In addition, please bring a list of all potential conflicts (i.e. work, travel, etc.). Performance Dates: Friday July 12th, 2019 at 7:30 PM & Saturday July 13th, 2019 at 7:30 PM.

Our conservatory program is committed to the education and development of young actors in a professional theatre environment that pursues artistic excellence and stimulates personal growth.
