A Classic Theatre to Hold Auditions for First Two Season Productions

ACT will hold auditions for the first two productions of the 2017-18 season on Thursday, September 28 at 6:30pm and Saturday, September 30 at 1:00pm at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall Community Room, 2200 A1A South (at A1A and 16th Street), St. Augustine Beach

Be prepared to read from the script. Bring a current headshot and resume.

"The Real Housewives of Tennessee (Williams)"

Conceived and directed by Kathryn Masters

Production Scheduled for: Early December 2017

Roles for: Male and Female Adult Actors

Two acts of selections from Williams' one-acts which feature Williams' wonderfully complex women.

"Intimate Apparel" by Lynn Nottage

Production Scheduled for February 2018

Roles for 2 M 4 F

Esther, African American, mid-30's

Mrs. Dickson, African American, 50's

Mrs. Van Buren, Caucasian American 30's

Mayme, African American, 30's

Mr. Marks, Romanian Orthodox Jewish immigrant

George, Barbadian immigrant, 30's

ACT is also seeking those interested in working with us as directors, stage help, stage managers, costume coordinators, and anyone who has muscle...a truck...and time on their hands for occasional physical workouts in loading in and setting up lighting equipment in the performance venues.
