El Palacio de Bellas Artes presents a unique concert that explores the musical dialogue between Tunisia and Veracruz, featuring the Veracruz group Mono Blanco and the Tunisian ensemble LeoMbri. The musical direction is led by Cuban-Spanish pianist Omar Sosa and Tunisian accordionist Zouheir Gouja, with notable performances by percussionist Gustavo Ovalles and musician Pablo Hernández. This event celebrates the influence of Afrodescendant heritage within these musical traditions, marking the 90th anniversary of the cultural landmark in Mexico. The concert will showcase traditional pieces, emphasizing the connections between the vibrant sounds of son jarocho and stambeli.
