Avec le privilège du Roy features the ensemble Il Furore, presenting a concert of ancient music highlighting the rich repertoire of the French Baroque under the reigns of Louis XIV and Louis XV. The performance will take place on September 20, 2024, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes and will include renowned works such as François Couperin's Quatrième Concert and Jean-Philippe Rameau's Pièces de Clavecin en Concerts IIIe Concert. The ensemble consists of Raquel Masmano on baroque violin, Mario Salinas on viola da gamba, and Daniel Ortega on harpsichord, with guest artist Vincent Touzet on traverso. Il Furore aims to evoke the sonorities of the 17th and 18th centuries through historically informed performances.
