Tickets to SISTER ACT's Run at Orpheum Theatre on Sale 10/25
Direct from Broadway, SISTER ACT, the hilarious, five-time Tony-nominated musical smash, is coming to Memphis, TN. Called "In a word, DIVINE!" by the Associated Press, SISTER ACT opens at the Orpheum Theatre on December 3 for a limited engagement!
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 25 at 10:00 AM. Tickets will be available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, The Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood, and all Ticketmaster centers (901.743.ARTS).
SISTER ACT is produced by Whoopi Goldberg, Stage Entertainment, and Troika Entertainment, featuring an original score with music by multi-Academy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted), lyrics by Tony and Academy Award-nominee Glenn Slater (The Little Mermaid), and a book by multi-Emmy Award winners Cheri and Bill Steinkellner ("Cheers") with additional book material by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane (Xanadu, The Little Dog Laughed). Directed on Broadway by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Smokey Joe's Café), the production features choreography by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) and is based on the Touchstone Pictures motion picture Sister Act written by Joseph Howard.
