The Circuit Playhouse Presents A TUNA CHRISTMAS

By: Nov. 04, 2015
A Tuna Christmas is back by popular demand at The Circuit Playhouse this holiday season! The colorful residents of Tuna, Texas' third-smallest town, are competing in the annual Christmas lawn display contest when a mysterious Christmas Phantom wreaks havoc on the elaborate decorations. Meanwhile, Tuna's embattled theatre director tries to get a troubled production of A Christmas Carol on its feet. Two actors play more than 20 characters, and multiple costume quick-changes help to put the riotous fun in holiday dysfunction in this audience favorite.

John Hemphill (A Tuna Christmas; Kiss Me, Kate) is reprising his role from the 2013 production. The other half of the dynamic duo from Tuna, Texas is Jonathan Christian (Assassins, The Fantsticks). While no stranger to The Circuit Playhouse stage, this will Jonathan's first journey with the residents of Tuna, Texas.

A Tuna Christmas runs November 27th - December 27th, 2015 at The Circuit Playhouse. A Tuna Christmas is sponsored by Dorothy O. Kirsch, The Circuit Playhouse Inc. Super Sponsor is Dr. Thomas Ratliff. The Pay-What-You-Can Performance is Thursday, December 3rd and is sponsored by ArtsZone/AutoZone and Southland Park Gaming and Racing. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S.
