By popular demand, Crumpet the Elf is returning to The Circuit Playhouse! Everyone's favorite elf-gone-bad is joining us to share some less-than-merry misadventures about working in Santa's Village. With a healthy dose of sarcasm and snark, Crumpet manages to reveal the shortcomings of the hustle and bustle surrounding the holidays while gently reminding us of the true meaning of the season. This intimate cabaret-style performance is a night at the theatre like no other.

Stepping into the iconic (and oversized) elf shoes is local favorite Jonathan Christian. Some of Jonathan's most notable Playhouse on the Square performances are Mamma Mia!, Memphis the Musical, and The Bridges of Madison County. The Santaland Diaries is directed by Dave Landis, who most recently directed The Bridges of Madison County at The Circuit Playhouse.

The Santaland Diaries runs December 1 - December 23 at The Circuit Playhouse. The Circuit Playhouse Inc. Super Sponsor is Dr. Thomas Ratliff. The Pay-What-You-Can Performance is Thursday, December 7th, 2017 and is sponsored by First Tennessee Foundation/ArtsFirst and Southland Park Gaming and Racing. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S. Cooper St. For more information or to make reservations, please call (901) 726-4656 or purchase tickets online at playhouseonthesquare.org.
