AJ Croce Concert Moves to Orpheum Stage

By:

Today the Orpheum Theatre Group announced a venue change for AJ Croce's one-night engagement on Friday, January 13th. Due to planned improvements to the Halloran Centre, the concert will be moved from the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education to the Orpheum Theatre for a cabaret-style performance.

"After a year of operation, we have discovered some enhancements that will make the Halloran Centre even better than it already is," said Brett Batterson, President & CEO of the Orpheum Theatre Group. "By moving A.J. Croce, we have cleared the time on the calendar to make the enhancements."

For roots-rock artist A.J. Croce's one-night engagement, the Orpheum will host the audience and the performer on the historic stage. This marks the first time that the Orpheum has offered a cabaret-style concert for the public. The success of this event could lead to more opportunities for patrons to experience their favorite artists with the awe-inspiring auditorium as the backdrop.

Patrons that have already purchased tickets for this engagement have been notified. Those who may not have received this information or have further questions should call the Orpheum Box Office at 901.525.3000.

Seating is limited, and tickets are $25 and selling quickly. Tickets are available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, the Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood, and Ticketmaster (901.743.ARTS).

The mission of the Orpheum Theatre Group is to enhance the communities we serve by utilizing the performing arts to entertain, educate, and enlighten while preserving the historic Orpheum Theatre and the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education.
