This concert features the Choir of Clare College from the University of Cambridge, UK. The Choir has an international reputation as one of the leading university choral groups in the world, and tours extensively. Its current music director, Graham Ross, presents a programme featuring Fauré’s gentle, soothing Requiem and Bernstein’s rousing Chichester Psalms. To end, we hear Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, one of the most sensational sound spectaculars ever created in a rare performance with choral ending.
Ages: Children below the age of 8 shall not be admitted.
