Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of the adventures of the four March sisters is brought to vivid musical life in Little Women. The Civil War is in full swing, and the March sisters -- Meg, the oldest, a romantic, the spirited and tomboyish Jo, sweet and loving Beth, and irascible, playful Amy -- live in Concord, MA with their Marmee while their father is on the battlefield. Filled with adventure (both lived and imagined), heartbreak, and a deep sense of hope, the struggle of these “Little Women” to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America. With buoyant, joyful melodies, memorable characters, and a big-hearted message, Little Women reminds us that “sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true.”

Little Women will be performed at Community Little Theatre on 30 Academy Street in Auburn at 7:30 p.m. on April 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29 at 2:00 p.m. on April 23 and 30. Community Little Theatre is thrilled to announce the cast of its final of their 79th Season, the smash ABBA musical Mamma Mia! Mamma Mia ran over 14 years on Broadway, making it the 9th longest running show in Broadway history. The music, all originally composed by the Swedish Pop Group ABBA, includes such hits as 'Dancing Queen', 'Knowing Me, Knowing You', 'Take a Chance on Me', 'The Winner Takes It All', 'Voulez-Vous', 'SOS' and of course the title track.

From the screenwriter of the Academy Award-winning film American Beauty, comes a hysterical and touching play that celebrates the bonds of womanhood. Jackie McDonald is directing, assisted by Renee Davis and produced by Cody Watson.
