Hackmatack Playhouse Spoofs THE HOUND OF BASKERVILLES, 6/26

By:

Hackmatack Playhouse audiences are discovering the Sherlock Holmes masterpiece THE HOUND OF BASKERVILLES with a gloriously funny makeover as Hackmatack spoofs Holmes (and Watson!) in the style of Hackmatack's popular production of THE 39 STEPS. A cast of four play all the roles as they unravel a mystery with comedy and slapstick. Directed by Jerard-James Craven, the cast includes Sarah Andrews, Chris Ferrill, Nick Iannotti, and Crystal Lisbon.

BASKERVILLES is the third of the four crime novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. The play is set largely on Dartmoor in England's West Country. The story is of an attempted murder inspired by the legend of a fearsome, diabolical supernatural hound. The laughs are endless.
