Good Theater has received a $5,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation to assist with the upcoming production of DEATH BY DESIGN. DEATH BY DESIGN will receive its East Coast premiere at Good Theater opening January 30 and running through February 24. New York playwright, Rob Urbinati, is the author of DEATH BY DESIGN.

Funds from the Davis Family Foundation grant will be used to assist with the longer rehearsal schedule, period costumes and the detailed setting. The grant will also assist with the playwright's trip to Maine for the opening as well as two talk back sessions following the first two public performances on January 30 & 31.

DEATH BY DESIGN is written in the style of Noel Coward meets Agatha Christie. The play is described as a comedy with murder. When a warring couple of the British stage retreat to their country home, the put upon servants must deal with unscheduled guests and a bit of murder.

Good Theater's Artistic Director, Brian P. Allen, directs the production which features Rob Cameron, Abigail Killeen, Matthew Delamater, Janice Gardner, Paul Haley, Kat Moraros, Susan Reilly and Benjamin Row. Craig Robinson is the set designer, Justin Cote is the costume designer, Iain Odlin designs the lights and Stephen Underwood is the technical director and sound designer.

For tickets to DEATH BY DESIGN, patrons should call the Good Theater box office at 207-885-5883.
