Waukesha Civic Theatre Presents Swingin' with Bing!, 12/29-31

By:

The Waukesha Civic Theatre presents Swingin' with Bing! from December 29th to 31st, 2012.
Ring In The New Year With Bing and Friends! Bing Crosby and the holiday season are practically synonymous. His rendition of Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" is the best-selling record of all time. His Kraft Music Hall and Philco Radio Time programs were cultural staples for decades, and his holiday TV specials were eagerly anticipated annual events. Now, the beloved entertainer comes to the Waukesha Civic Theater in this loving tribute to the legendary crooner created by and starring Matt Zembrowski, with musical direction and arrangements by Paula Foley Tillen. Featuring "Silver Bells", "Mele Kalikimaka", "Christmas In Killarney" and many other Crosby Christmas (and New Years'!) favorites, this sparkling bit of holiday nostalgia is sure to warm the soul on a cold winter's night. Also starring actor Michael Skocir as Bing's host and announcer Ken Carpenter, and vocalist Faith Danniel as Rosemary Clooney.
