Artistic Director Tony Prince and Producing Director Richard McGrew are delighted to announce the opening of the Louisville premiere of "Clybourne Park" by Bruce Norris on October 26.

Inspired by Lorraine Hansberry's groundbreaking play "A Raisin in the Sun," "Clybourne Park" explores our ongoing struggles as a country to unite and live harmoniously together given our racially divided past...and present. Norris' uncomfortably hilarious and merciless play spares no one. It won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play.

Director Tony Prince calls this play "a funny but unflinching look in our collective national mirror. It couldn't be more relevant."

The cast includes Heather Green as Bev/Kathy, Tony Prince as Russ/Dan, Michala Smith as Francine/Lena, David Galloway as Jim/Tom/Kenneth, Tyler Madden as Albert/Kevin , Ryan Lash as Karl/Steve and Katherine Martin as Betsy/Lindsey. The technical team consists of Scenic Designer Eric Allgeier, Lighting Designer Keith Kimmel, Costume Designer Lindsay Chamberlin and Sound Designer Richard McGrew.

Showtimes are October 26, 27, 28 and November 2, 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and October 29 and November 5 at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be at The Henry Clay Theatre, 604 South Third Street, Louisville, KY. Tickets are $20 in advance or $22 day of show. Advance tickets are available at TheLiminalPlayhouse.org or by calling (502) 553-8056.

The Liminal Playhouse embraces, explores and celebrates the ambiguous, and sometimes paradoxical, nature of our shared humanity.
