James Maynard Keenan (TOOL and A Perfect Circle) will bring his newest project, Puscifer to the W.L. Lyons Brown Theatre on Wednesday February 29th, 2012 at 7:30pm. Tickets will go on sale Friday December 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased at Kentucky Center box office, call 502-584-7777, or online at www.kentuckycenter.org.

Puscifer is a side project for Maynard James Keenan of the bands TOOL and A Perfect Circle. His ambient and experimental approach to comedic rock reflects in his own words, “his creative subconscious.” Puscifer has also been labeled as a nickname for his solo work. Keenan, the only permanent member of Puscifer, has been active since 1995.

Originally the band was named Umlaut and labeled as a “premier improvisational hardcore band.” The name Puscifer was coined as the name of his fictional band when appearing in Mr. Show with Bob and David – an American sketch comedy series - and the name stuck.

Also gracing the stage is Carina Round, a young, inimitable singer whose uncompromising vision and thrilling versatility has earned her the title of an amazing musician. Since a young age Carina had an affinity for music that has pushed her to pursue her career as a singer. In 2009, she self-released her EP Things You Should Know that resulted in much of her success, leading to multiple film and TV shows featuring her music. Carina began touring with Puscifer and has recently worked on their new album Conditions of My Parole, which was released on October 18th of this year.
