Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts Retains New Media Program
By: Kelsey Denette
As previously reported, the Kentucky Center Governor's School for the Arts (GSA) had expected to eliminate its New Media program for budgetary reasons.
Due to the generosity of dedicated GSA supporters Gill and Augusta Holland, as well as additional support from the Kentucky Tourism, Arts & Heritage Cabinet, Office of the Secretary, GSA will retain the New Media program for the Summer of 2013, along with the other existing disciplines: Architecture, Creative Writing, Dance – Modern and Ballet, Drama, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Visual Art and Vocal Music.
