This rock opera, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice, takes a bold approach to the final week of Jesus' life.

Forget traditional hymns and orchestral scores. Jesus Christ Superstar explodes with a powerful rock and roll sound, capturing the turmoil and drama of the story. The narrative unfolds from Judas' perspective, questioning Jesus' actions and motivations. This unique viewpoint challenges traditional interpretations and adds a layer of complexity to the familiar biblical tale.

Despite its rock roots and portrayal of Judas as a conflicted figure, Jesus Christ Superstar has become a global phenomenon. The catchy and thought-provoking songs, including "I Don't Know How to Love Him," "Gethsemane," and "Superstar," have resonated with audiences for decades.
