(mostly)musicals Kicks Off Their 4th Season with HAPPY Songs

Kicking off their 4th season in style, (mostly)musicals will return to the E Spot Lounge on Monday, January 16 (at the new time of 7:30pm) with songsforaHAPPYnewYEAR -- the company's 21st entry in a series of themed cabarets. "We are excited to move into a new year and a new season of (mostly)musicals -- and we want to get it off to a HAPPY start! There are no sad songs allowed at *this* show," explains producer Amy Francis Schott.

(mostly)musicals knows 2016 was a bumpy ride - so we are welcoming in 2017 with our annual evening of fun and uplifting songs!

You will be delighted by sparkling talent including: Amanda Kruger (lead singer: Everly Snodgrass), Caitlin Gallogly (RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD, Kevin in HOME ALONE at Rockwell), Eric B. Anthony (B'way including: THE LION KING, MERRILY at the Wallis), Jason Peter Kennedy (JOSEPH at 3D), Justin Michael Wilcox (Ovation nominee for FIRST DATE at La Mirada), Kelley Dorney (LEND ME A TENOR at La Mirada), Kristina Miller (THE WILD PARTY at The Duplex, SERRANO THE MUSICAL), Matt Magnusson (Ovation nominee for RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD, HOME STREET HOME), Matt Valle (Sacred Fools' SKULLDUGGERY), Tiana Okoye (HAIRSPRAY LIVE, Elsa in FROZEN Live at the Hyperion), and more! Plus, a special guest performance from songwriter Selda Sahin with Broadway's Eric Krop (GODSPELL).

We'll also feature a sneak preview of Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE, TIANANMEN) and Marshall Pailet (LOCH NESS, TRIASSIC PARQ)'s exciting new musical CLAUDIO QUEST - making its West Coast premiere starting January 27 at The Chance Theater in Anaheim!

Of course, Emily Clark and Mark Jacobson will entertain you in the show AND the open mic afterparty, and we have celebrated Gregory Nabours on the piano!
