'Victory' Extends thru March 23 at the Fountain Theatre
Victory - the United States premiere of Athol Fugard's new play about the search for hope in the "New South Africa" - has extended performances through March 23 at the Fountain Theatre.
In Victory "Two young blacks looking for cash break into the house of an elderly white man. When the old man discovers them ransacking his home, an explosive, savage confrontation reveals the twisted emotional ties that bind them all," explain press notes.
Victory, written by Athol Fugard, is directed by Stephen Sachs and stars Morlan Higgins, Lovensky Jean-Baptiste and Tinashe Kajese.
Performances through March 23 are Thursdays at 8PM; Fridays at 8PM; Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2PM.
