UCLA's student-run theatre company, Act III Theatre Ensemble, touches on the issues of everyday people dealing with religion, love, and perspectives of life in their production of Michael John LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See which opens December 5th. The company has used their creative visions and minimal resources to miraculously transform a simple salon into a proscenium stage. Act III has artistically woven together all aspects of theatre to create a breath taking performance.

After last year's great success of the production of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, director and founder, Hunter Bird is yet again bringing us an astounding spectacle of truth. His tech team turned this barren salon into a place where any setting can magically come alive and with his five cast members, ranging from freshmen to seniors, his vision of a professional theatre company comes to life.

Act III is fortunate enough to have the honored guest of seven-time Tony nominated book writer, lyricist and composer of See What I Wanna See, Michael John LaChiusa, attend their performance. In honor of him and several other VIP guests, Act III will be hosting a dessert gala following Saturday night's performance. The cast, crew, and audience members will attend the reception while refreshments are served. Attire is Business Casual and to attend this performance, RSVP for the Guest List at actiiireservation@gmail.com.

Performance dates are December 5th and 6th at Kerkhoff Grand Salon located on UCLA's campus with a matinee at 2 P.M. and an evening performance at 8 P.M. Admission is free for all and late seating will not be allowed. The live band and larger than life performance will fill the audience with energy.

Act III can be contacted by e-mail at actiiite@gmail.com
