The Spill Canvas Opens in Sioux Falls, 8/13

By:

Currently out on the road for a headlining tour through the end of May, The Spill Canvas have announced that they will continue touring in June and throughout the summer. The summer leg begins on June 12th and includes several Canadian dates. The band will also hit the road opening for Goo Goo Dolls and Switchfoot in July and August.

The Spill Canvas, which is vocalist/guitarist Nick Thomas, guitarist Dan Ludeman, drummer Joe Beck, and bassist Landon Heil, released a five-song digital EP, entitled Realities, through all digital service providers in April. Realities features the band's current single "Our Song," which is currently in rotation on MTV2, Music Choice and FUSE's Viewer's Choice Countdown. Fans can also see the video on MTV.com now. A special physical edition of Realities comes with an exclusive t-shirt and is available on tour as well as through The Spill Canvas' website: www.thespillcanvas.com.

Founded by Thomas, The Spill Canvas have released several albums, including 2005's One Fell Swoop and their major-label debut, 2007's No Really, I'm Fine, produced by Neal Avron (The Wallflowers, Fall Out Boy) which spawned the radio smash "All Over You." Each album has sold more 80,000 copies. The band are currently working on the follow-up to No Really, I'm Fine, to be released by Reprise Records in 2010.
