The Grove Theatre Presents THE WIZARD OF OZ Now thru 5/13
The Wizard of Oz, the spectacular musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world, is being presented by the OBC Theater at The Grove Theatre, opening tonight, May 4th at 7:29 pm. Featuring the classic songs, "Over the Rainbow," "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and "If I only had a Brain" along with the beloved characters, Dorothy, Toto, the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow, and the citizens of Munchkinland, the Emerald City and the Haunted Forest, this production of The Wizard of Oz is directed by Amanda Kalkanis and choreographed by Michael Milligan, with set and costumes designed by Nancy Gettinger.
The Wizard of Oz stars Makenna Heliker (Dorothy Gale), Leslie Thompson (Wicked Witch), Bobby Rowland (Wizard of Oz), James Ellis (Scarecrow), Peter Milligan (Tinman), Ray Jaime (Lion), Jack Freedman (Uncle Henry), Kathryn Grossman (Aunt Em) and Amanda Kalkanis (Glinda).
THE WIZARD OF OZ is performing for two weekends only through Sunday, May 13th. Evening performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:29 pm and matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $25 and $20. Children 12 and under are $12. There are also senior, group and student discounts. Tickets can be purchased by calling the or visiting the Box Office at 276 E.
