Star Wars Rebels Actress Julie Dolan Joins the Cast of CONNECT

Director Ronnie Marmo and Theatre 68 are proud to announce that Julie Dolan, voice of Princess Lea in "Star Wars Rebels," will join the cast in the World Premiere of CONNECT, at NoHo Arts Center and set to open on February 12th, 2016. Marmo confirms that Dolan is perfectly cast, in the sultry role of Samantha, and will be a compliment to the other stellar actors in this intimate, steamy production.

Julie Dolan (Samatha) Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, "Connect" marks Julie's 2nd production with Theatre 68. Last year's "The Idiot Box" was her first. She started working in TV/Film at a young age. Julie is the official voice of "Princess Leia" for Disney/Lucas Films. Recently guest-starred on "Star Wars Rebels" as well as several Disney Video Games. You can also hear her on the Star Tours Ride at Disneyland. You may recognize her from: Afterschool Specials, Feature Films, Episodics, recurring on Gilmore Girls - VH1 Classic's Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. Dolan is also an accomplished musician - keyboard player / vocalist in The UnderCoverGirls and BORN JOVI.

ABOUT THE SHOW

In CONNECT, the wife of a Hollywood producer languishes in quiet desperation with her husband. The son of an Arizona welfare recipient and recovering alcoholic fights in turbulent confrontation with his mother. Both are recluses. Then, one day, fate intervenes and brings this unlikely pair together. Samantha works as a "model" for a phone sex service. Toby becomes a patron. As these two become closer, we learn the secrets that have fettered their lives...and explore the unexpressed desires and fantasies that each harbors.

Regular performances are Friday & Saturday at 8:00PM and Sunday 7:00PM
