Stage Rights Begins New Licensing Partnership with Miracle or 2 Productions

By:

Steele Spring Stage Rights, the licensing company that represents "The Marvelous Wonderettes," has begun a new partnership with Miracle or 2 Theatrical Licensing. As part of the deal, Miracle or 2 will include the popular Stage Rights titles "Dinner With the Boys," "Route 66," "Running Mates," and "Real Housewives: The Musical" as part of their catalog, with Stage Rights remaining the publisher of record and Miracle or 2 servicing the account as sub-publisher. Additionally, Stage Rights will act as sub-publisher for the Miracle or 2 titles "The Bikinis," "Are We There Yet?" and "The Rat Pack Lounge."

Stage Rights and Miracle or 2 will split fees on any sub-published property and the author will still receive their full royalty. "This is a very unique deal to be brokered between two domestic theatrical publishers," said Stage Rights President Roger Bean. "The hope is to open these shows up to new clients and theaters, and create a new stream of royalty revenue for the playwrights and rights holders." Both publishers hope this partnership lasts for years to come. "We are very excited about our collaboration with Stage Rights," said Miracle or 2 Co-Executive Director James Hindman. "They have so many wonderful shows and we can't wait to share them with our theaters!"

Miracle or 2 Theatrical Licensing is a New York City based publisher with a wide range of offerings, from plays to musicals to revues. Dedicated to the creation and development of the new American play and musical, Miracle or 2's popular titles include "Pete 'N' Keely," "Being Audrey," and "The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree."
