SkyPilot Theatre Company Opens 10 MINUTE BENDERS Tonight
10 MINUTE BENDERS is the first production of SkyPilot Theatre Company's 2014 season. It's also the third installment of our "One-act/One Location" series featuring short one-acts written by SkyPilot's resident playwrights and starring members of SkyPilot's acting ensemble. This time the location is a dive bar and the topics include bachelorette parties, alcoholic superheros and beer coolers that lead to alternate dimensions. Something for everybody!
10 Minute Benders was written by SkyPilot Resident Playwrights Nicole B. Adkins, Adam Hahn, Samantha Macher, Wendy-Marie Martin, Liz Shannon Miller, Jonathan Price, Mike Rothschild, Dave Ulrich and Nathan Wellman. The pieces have been directed by Mary Burkin, Dave Caprita, Sara Kubida, Samantha Macher, Liz Shannon Miller, Jonathan Price, Morry Schorr, Lois Weiss. SkyPilot Ensemble Members Anthony Backman, Mary Burkin, Zelika Chante, Cathy Cox, Veleeta DaCosta, Mackenzie English, Jude Evans, Trevor Eyster, Tony Franchitto, Ashley Fuller, Eliza Kiss, Brett Koontz, Monica Lawson, Ellen Rae Littman, Franci Montgomery, Chris Palle, Marie Pettit, Morry Schorr, Nathaniel Stanton and Lois Weiss will be starring in this 2014 production.
10 Minute Benders will open tonight, January 31 and run through February 23, 2014 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with a running time of 85 minutes. Performances will take place at Young Actors Studio, 5215 Lankershim blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91601 (above Pit Fire Pizza). Street parking is available and there is a public parking lot on Magnolia ½ block West of Lankershim.
