Rogue Artists Ensemble Extends GOGOL PROJECT Thru 11/8

Rogue Artists Ensemble has announced that it is extending it's Gogol Project through November 8 at the Bootleg Theater.

The Rogues' newest theatrical adventure takes audiences into the grotesque and whimsical world of Nikolai Gogol's St. Petersburg neighborhood of Nevsky Prospect, bringing three of his most famous short stories - Diary of a Madman, The Overcoat and The Nose - to hyper-theatrical life with a mix of live actors, puppetry, masks, dance, digital projection, and an original score and songs by Ego Plum.

The Gogol Project is written by Kitty Felde, adapted from the short stories of Nikolai Gogol. Hyper-theatrical Concept and Design is by Rogue Artists Ensemble.  The production features original songs and score by Ego Plum, and is directed by Sean T. Cawelti.  It is presented by Rogue Artists Ensemble and produced in association with Bootleg Theater.

The production runs: Fridays at 8 pm: October 16, 23, 30; November 6; Saturdays at 3 pm: October 17, 24, 31; November 7; Saturdays at 8 pm: October 17, 24, 31; November 7; Sundays at 3 pm: October 18, 25; November 1, 8 at Bootleg Theater, 2220 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90057
