Richard Baird, Frank Corrado et al. Set for North Coast Rep NO MAN'S LAND Reading Tonight, 6/11

By:

North Coast Repertory Theatre presents a Special Classic Reading Series Event: NO MAN'S LAND by Harold Pinter and featuring Richard Baird, Frank Corrado, David Ellenstein & Ken Ruta tonight, June 11th at 8p.m.

In this masterpiece of deceit and wit, a mysterious stranger visits the house of a famous English poet and the two men verbally grapple and spar in a limbo of circuitous logic, recovering and reconciling their memories of days gone by. With the aid of a good deal of vodka, loads of whiskey and a little champagne, the two of them unearth their successes, adventures, and women won and lost. A poignant comedy steeped in ambiguity, Pinter's No Man's Land plumbs the space between what is known and what is imagined.

Harold Pinter (Playwright) Harold Pinter, CH, CBE (10 October 1930 - 24 December 2008) was a Nobel Prize-winning English playwright, screenwriter, director and actor. One of the most influential modern British dramatists, his writing career spanned more than 50 years. His best-known plays include The Birthday Party (1957), The Homecoming (1964), and Betrayal (1978), each of which he adapted to film. His screenplay adaptations of others' works include The Servant (1963), The Go-Between (1970), The French Lieutenant's Woman (1981), The Trial (1993), and Sleuth (2007). He also directed or acted in radio, stage, television, and film productions of his own and others' works.

Tickets for 'No Man's Land" are available only at North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach at 987 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Suite D, www.northcoastrep.org. Box Office hours are Noon to 4PM daily and Noon to Curtain day of shows.
