Peter Mac's Carnegie Hall opening night was a 1961 & 1984 flashback. Gedde Watanabe attended last night's, April 20th, opening performance of Peter Mac's Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall show at the French Market's Showroom.

Watanabe is best known for his cult-status role as Long Duk Dong in the hit 80s film, "Sixteen Candles" (1984). Most recently Watanabe performed in the "Proposition 8 Trial Re-Enactment" a TV series documentary and will soon be seen beside Billy Crystal and Bette Midler in the new feature film "Parental Guidance".

Tribute Artist, Peter Mac preforms as Judy Garland every Friday & Saturday night in West Hollywood at the Peter Mac's Showroom located inside the French Market Restaurant. Mac's current show is the anniversary of Judy Garland's 1961 Carnegie Hall show! Mac preforms and sings LIVE the entire concert from start to finish, just like Ms. Garland did that famous night.

Judy Garland AT Carnegie Hall show runs tonight, Saturday, April 21 and next week Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28. Doors open at 6:50pm for dinner and show starts at 8pm. For tickets and info go to www.friendofJudy.com.
