P3 Theatre Company Announces The Exciting Five Show Lineup For The Launch Of Their Inaugural Season

By:

P3 Theatre Company announced today their five-show lineup to debut the Grand Opening of their new professional, non-profit 501(c)(3) theatre company. The first season will consist of Evita, Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Tim Rice, Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling, Sordid Lives, by Del Shores, Gypsy, Music by Jule Styne, Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and A Chorus Line, Music by Marvin Hamlisch, Lyrics by Edward Kleban - all showcasing at the Ernest Borgnine Theatre in Long Beach.

"I couldn't be more thrilled about the groundbreaking shows we have been able to secure for the first season at our new theatre company," says Executive Artistic Director Jon Peterson. "A dream since childhood, I founded P3 Theatre Company to give paid employment opportunities to actors, directors, designers, and musicians, being that there are so few paid opportunities throughout Southern California. I also have a passion for making theatre available to everyone, including low income and disabled individuals, without bias. I feel that local and regional theatres are those that can reach the local community and make a difference in the core of the grand masses - helping improve society one person at a time."

Through a passionate platform inspired by the arts, P3 Theatre Company provides an enriching and educational experience to actors, production staff, and theatergoing audiences.

P3 Theatre Company fosters progressive, groundbreaking, new and existing works, that are available to the entire community without bias. Their goal is to make their shows accessible to individuals and families that have needs based on the economy, health and any other challenges that would normally prevent them from being able to attend a live theatrical stage production.

With a pragmatic approach, P3 Theatre Company will present top quality, professionally produced, theatrical works that inspire and enlighten the community in an effort to achieve complete harmony and inclusivity.

Season auditions for their season lineup will take place in early July 2019. Visit www.p3theatre.biz for the most up-to-date information.
