Ophelia's Jump to Present ORPHANS by Kyle Kessler

Ophelia's Jump Productions announces the third production of their fifth season with Orphans, the award-winning play by Lyle Kessler.

Fresh from their successful run of A Behanding in Spokane by Martin McDonagh, this production will be performed at the Ophelia's Jump Pop-Up Theatre located at 2114 Porterfield Way in Upland, next door to LAST NAME BREWING.

Broadway and Off Broadway audiences gave this moving drama standing ovations. Orphans has been an international success throughout the world. Albert Finney won the Olivier Award in London's West End production. Two brothers, Phillip, sensitive, reclusive, never venturing out of his North Philly home, and Treat, a violent pickpocket and thief who kidnaps a mysteriously wealthy businessman who turn the table on the two brothers and in strange, hilarious and moving way, becomes their long lost father figure. Nominee! 2013 Tony Award, Best Revival of a Play Nominee! 2013 Outer Critics Circle Award, Outstanding Revival of a Play.

A new temporary location for Ophelia's Jump: Ophelia's Jump continues their search for a permanent home in the area. A Behanding in Spokane will be performed next door to LAST NAME BREWING at 2114 Porterfield Way in Upland. This "temporary home" will allow audience members to visit and enjoy Last Name Brewing prior to experiencing this exciting "Pop-Up" venue. Audience members are invited to come early to order Food Truck meals and enjoy selections from the award-winning brewery.
