For its first show of 2019, Neo Ensemble Theatre is proud to premiere eight new original works as part of its hit series Airport Encounters: Brace for Impact!, running from February 8-24 at the Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles.

Airport Encounters: Brace for Impact! is a comedic anthology of inter-connected vignettes centered around a central hub that take a hard and hysterical look at human behaviors and the problems we face, all in real time as both weary and excited passengers pass through an airport and onto their next adventure. Featuring individual stories of the eclectic but all too familiar passengers written by a team of top writers, the stories comprise a bigger picture, a full show in itself, making for a truly unique theatrical experience.

The play, which features some of Neo's top talent actors and directors, is made up of shows written by Elayne Heilveil, Mark Harvey Levine, Scott Mullen, Beth Polsky, Jessica Rowe and Rom Watson. They include:

CHARLIE - A robot designer and his new creation meet their match in the airport waiting area.

HIS NAME IS HENRY - A man's unexpected emotional-support animal causes problems.

I WISH YOU HAD NEVER BEEN BORN - A woman is stunned when a visitor from the future arrives with a strange message.

MY CELL PHONE SAYS YOU'RE MY SOULMATE - A man's cell phone leads him to the woman of his dreams...or is it her sister?

NINJAS - When two former acquaintances run into each other, it leads to some surprising revelations.

ORDAINED - A woman with the power to marry tries to put it to use.

TILL DEATH DO US PART - A newly-married couple argue around a man who finds himself caught in the middle.

THREE SYLLABLES OF SHAME - A couple's attempts to name their unborn baby reveal their anxiety over the coming birth.
