NYC Comedian Nevins Debuts 'Recessionista' at Upright

Friday, January 16, 2009 at 9pm - New York based Award Winning Radio/TV personality and Comedian Scott Nevins returns to Los Angeles for ONE NIGHT ONLY to workshop his new show "RECESSIONISTA: CHEAPER THAN A TANK OF GAS!"  at L.A.'s famed Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant, 861 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069.

After an Off-Broadway and various performances across the country of his 2007 MAC Award nominated show "Celebutant: Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?". New York based Award winning Radio/TV Personality and Comedian Scott Nevins returns to LA for One Night Only to workshop his latest show "Recessionista: Cheaper Than A Tank Of Gas !" before taking it back to NYC for its official Off-Broadway run!

Scott Nevins is an Award winning Host, Radio/TV Personality, Comedian, Celebrity Interviewer, Producer and Actor. He has hosted over 300 live events and collected a roster of celebrity interviews to rival a seasoned veteran twice his age, working with some of the industry's best including the legendary Liza Minnelli, Susan Lucci, Lynn Redgrave, Laura Linney, Rosie O'Donnell, Tammy Faye Messner-Bakker, and countless other Film, TV, Theater, and Recording stars. Scott has been performing his hit 2007 MAC Award Nominated solo comedy show "Celebutant: Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?  across the Country to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike after its initial sold out Off-Broadway run! He has appeared on several national TV and Radio programs including "First Look  NY" on NBC,  the Style Network's "Relationship Rehab", TruTV's "The Smoking Gun Presents", QTV, Logo, Fuse TV, and MNN Television (as host of "Out At The Center"). He filmed "Up Close & Personal with Kimberley Locke", hosted TV Land's first ever live celebrity online video chat, interviewing Emmy Winner Bebe Neuwirth, as well as the all-star cast of the hit Broadway Musical "Young Frankenstein",  and headlined his own show at the legendary comedy club Caroline's on Broadway.  Scott received high praise for his work as the fill-in host and weekly segment host for "The John McMullen Show" on Sirius Satellite Radio where he did his Friday night segment "The Crapshoot - with Scott Nevins".
