By:
Following a several month absence from the LA scene, (mostly)musicals will make its long-awaited return on Monday, July 6 at the E Spot Lounge with The Heat Is ON! "We are so excited to be returning to the LA calendar, and to be back in Studio City in the beautiful new E Spot Lounge," explains producer amy francis schott.

(mostly)musicals prides itself on finding a unique assortment of songs - mostly from musicals, but frequently featuring pop, jazz, and country - as well as an equally unique assortment of talent to perform them, from Broadway veterans to recent LA arrivals. This show will continue to surprise and delight audiences with sizzling songs by Cole Porter, Jason Robert Brown, George & Ira Gershwin, Robert Lopez & Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Irving Berlin, Christine Lavin, Duke Ellington, and others. This sweltering selection will be performed by a blazing hot array of singers featuring Tony Award nominee Sharon McNight (STARMITES), Joshua Finkel (B'way & West End: KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN), MaryJo Mundy (MUNDY ON TUESDAYS), Cassandra Nuss (DOMA's AMERICAN IDIOT), Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Derrian Tolden (PSYCHE: A MODERN ROCK OPERA), Rachel Tyler (West End: MISS SAIGON and SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ), Kalen Edean, Amanda Kruger, David Meinke, Jillian Easton, Ryan Dietz, and more to be announced! Music direction is provided by Gregory Nabours, one of LA's hottest music directors and the award winning composer of THE TROUBLE WITH WORDS.

Immediately following the show will be an open mic afterparty!

Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks. Tickets are $10 with a 2 item minimum, and are available in advance at www.espotlounge.com
