Mark Standriff Resigns As Managing Director Of STC
Mark Standriff has resigned as the managing director of the Sacramento Theater Company. He had held the position since May 2007.
According to a quote on sacbee.com "It became apparent, as we're dealing with the financial crisis, that the current management structure was not going to be financially feasible," Standriff said.
Sacbee.com also stated that his decision to resign from his $80,000 a year post was "mainly a business decision to help the theater."
Founded by Eleanor McClatchy whose inspiration and support made Sacramento Theatre Company a reality, the Sacramento Theatre Company Mainstage seats 300 patrons in a proscenium auditorium. There are three sections to the auditorium with each seat bringing audience members a clear view of the stage. The acoustics are excellent. The mainstage also includes a spacious remodeled lobby that offers concessions and a bar that serves a variety of beers and wines.
Sacramento Theatre Company's Stage Two is a 90-seat black box theatre in which theatregoers experience live theatre on the most intimate level possible. Providing only three rows of seats the audience is thrust into the action on stage.
