The Neasden Queen of soul, the Nymphette of the Nail Varnish, the High Priestess of Hairspray, Mari Wilson has moved seamlessly over the years, through pop and jazz to an intimate, sassy cabaret, full of high glamour and glam humor. Mari returns to LA for an intimate showcase at The Inner Circle at the Magic Castle.

Mari first arrived on the scene in the early eighties with her skyscraper beehive hairdo, bizarre sense of fashion and fully choreographed twelve-piece band The Wilsations! Mari's live shows were spoken about as an event - and now she's back in the U.S.

Mari Wilson's offers an intimate show accompanied by piano and guitar. Performing songs from all of her albums, including early hits like, Cry Me A River and Just What I Always Wanted, and her unusual choice of covers (including the show-stopping Wild Horses and the sublime Be My Baby). Also included is a sneak preview from her new one-woman musical, The Love Thing, debuting for five nights at The Leicester Square Theatre, London November 2010. Retro-pop, jazz, soul and irony - add to this Mari's unique style of glamour and storytelling and you're in for a night to remember.
