Mother Eve's Secret Garden of Sensual Sisterhood, a 60 minute version of the hit full-length musical comedy that was nominated for 7 awards and won 3 at the 2011 Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, and has also been presented live at The People's Improv Theater (The PIT) in New York City, will open the Los Angeles Comedy Festival on Friday, April 20th at 7:00p.m.

Based on the award-winning web series of the same name, this mother of all rock musicals follows self-help guru Mother Eve who helps women transform their lives – by teaching them to unleash their inner skanks, celebrate their cellulite, and explore their female flower power.  The show won a producers award, "Outstanding Costume Design," and "Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical" in the MITF.  

Written by Uma Incrocci, Erica Jensen, and Kirk McGee, with lyrics by Uma Incrocci and music by Christian Pedersen, Mother Eve's Secret Garden of Sensual Sisterhood stars Alena Acker, Elena Bossler, Ashley Wren Collins, Amy Dannenmueller, Molly Groome, Uma Incrocci, Kirk McGee, Danielle Montezinos, and Christian Pedersen.  Erica Jensen of Calleri Casting and Jenny Mercein direct; Ashley Wren Collins choreographs.    

The performance will take place at The Actors Company, 916a N. Formosa Avenue, West Hollywood, CA.  Tickets are $10.50 on-line in advance; $15 at the door.
